Many people question whether God is really involved when I shoot. Well, I try to involve Him, and that means I pray before each match, and I try to conduct myself in such a way as to make Him proud of me, even if I don’t shoot all that well. The other day, He left no doubt that He not only was interested in my shooting, sometimes, He even puts His hands on the scales.
This video shows me clearly forgetting a target on a stage, only to have 2 delta hits, complete with grease rings appear on that same target. Must not have taped the shooter before me, right? That’s what I thought, until I looked up his score…he was shooting PCC, and had 23 A’s and 5 C’s on his run…no D’s, so they were not his!
This was on Saturday, and Monday morning, the my morning devotional from my Sun Valley Community Church app was about Acts 16:25-33. While not quite an earthquake, 2 9mm holes, complete with grease rings, when I didn’t shoot at that target, is enough to convince me that God is Good…and that I need to keep sharing that message.
